Capture the melancholic side of the sea and take home a Lomo'Instant Sebastian!
Summer almost always equates to endless days of frolicking by the beach and capturing sunny smiles. For this LomoMission, we are turning the tides around on this idea. Instead of focusing on the sprightly colors of the season, we challenge everyone to slow down and turn their lenses on the melancholic side of the sea. Here are some ideas to capture its nostalgic and gloomy atmosphere: (1) Watch as the tide ebbs and flows. Take a long exposure shot to record its feathery movement. (2) Utilize the sky's ever-changing palette as a backdrop for moody silhouettes. (3) Be inspired by the vast seascape and how it creates a distance among people and places. (4) A little bummer if you want to soak up the sun but a cloudy weather might be your friend in this challenge. Only film photographs in relation to the theme will be qualified in this competition. Please refrain from spamming the submission box. Each user can submit up to five images. One grand prize winner will take home a Lomo'Instant San Sebastian. This competition will run until June 13, 2016
