Emotions are what makes us human. For this "Monochrome" challenge, we're looking for black and white photographs that depict strong reactions and facial expressions.
Without the nuance of colors, shooting in black and white allows one to focus on capturing the raw sentiments of a person. Grief, ecstasy, anger, disgust--turn the complexities of human emotions into an exhibit-worthy photograph.
Each participant can submit up to 10 black and white photographs. This competition, which serves as the qualifying round for the "Monochrome" category, is open to all.
