Put the spotlight on the city and its other side that surfaces once the sun goes down.
As the world shift gears to bring in the stars and moon, the city streets also reveal its own man-made light displays: brightly colored neon signs, blinking reds and whites from the traffic, and buildings illuminated by late-night workers. For this competition, we're looking for photographs that showcase the different nocturnal activities that happen in various urban spaces. A pub with the loudest music and cheapest beer, a busy intersection where cars and people converge, a market filled with appetizing aromas---these are all waiting. The night is young and ready for your keen photographer eyes.
Each participant can submit up to ten photographs. This competition, which serves as the qualifying round for the Urban Explorers category, is open to all.
