Sammy against white brick wall - experiment

I was trying to achieve an effect I saw in the movie title sequence of the Italian film The Secret of Santa Vittoria, where the village people are overlaid with the brick town walls, lending a very beautiful textured quality to the faces, akin to raised woven fabric. I thought shooting my backyard white brick wall, then photographing Sammy on top of it would give me that effect, but it definitely needs a second try! But there's potential, will attempt again.
