Bokeh refers to the out-of-focus part of an image and the aesthetic quality of the blur. For this competition, we're putting them out of the background and into the spotlight!
When composing a photograph, think of how you can incorporate bokeh into your composition and make it the focus of the photograph. For instance, blur lights like raindrops falling out a teacup or make them look like tiny fairies emerging from a box.
And don't just limit yourself to smooth, round bokeh. Play with shapes, like hearts, stars, or even pumpkins, for more creative options in your images!
Each participant can submit up to 10 photographs. This competition, which serves as the qualifying round for the Game Changers competition, is open to all.
