Lomography X British Ecological Society: Life in Extreme Conditions

Lomography have teamed up with The British Ecological Society to offer you the chance to win one-year membership to this fantastic worldwide organization and vouchers for our online shop!

The British Ecological Society is the oldest ecological society in the world, supporting and promoting research projects from around the globe. We've teamed up with them for this rather apt competition that examines how life flourishes in an extreme environment.

Gather your archive or shoot a fresh set of analogue photos that explores how floras and faunas adapt and thrive in harsh conditions. Perhaps you visited a derelict building that was overgrown and crumbling or has seen animals roaming even in severe winter conditions. If you snapped a photo that touches upon these fascinating interactions between organisms and their habitats, we want to see it!

You'll receive their quarterly magazine "The Niche", get discounts on events and meetups AND you'll be able to enter their own online photo competition to win some prizes and be featured in their own magazine! Four runners-up will get 50 EUR voucher for our Online Shop. This competition serves as the qualifying round for the Off The Grid category of our TEN AND ONE Annual Lomography Photo Awards 2019.
