Reality may be filled with colors, but switching to a black and white film can bring a new perspective on how one approach and photograph the world. Without the nuance of clashing hues, the delicate balance between light and shadow is highlighted. Textures and details pop out of the frame. Emotions and moods can be more affecting. Experiment with this timeless medium and be proud of your masterpieces!

Lomography, together with our esteemed panel of jury, will select five of the best photographs to win a coveted spot in our Hall of Fame, the finest Lomography camera, and other surprises from our partners!
