Introduction - Who is Apneet?

Hey there, my name is Apneet and I’ve decided to start publishing my analog photos on this blog, yay! I’ve been using Lomo cameras for several years now but never bothered to be a part of the community in any meaningful way. Exploring the site in these last few weeks has inspired me to share my stories too, and not just be an idle participant, but an active one. So, a little about me:

I live in New York City with my boyfriend and pug. I’m attending college and studying music, hoping to graduate in the coming semesters. As long as I can remember I’ve always been shooting photos, mostly for fun, and occasionally for work. I run a fashion blog where I do the host of the photography for my site.

The earliest memories I have with cameras are of my dad chasing my brother and I with videocameras for footage for home movies. Do you remember those giant camcorders that were the size of a football? My dad was always taking photos and keeping family memories in photo albums. He eventually let me take the camera and I was allowed to point it wherever I wanted.
