WANTED : THE BEST FILM PHOTO LAB IN THE WORLD

4

Hello everyone!
Some of us may be develop and scan films by them selves. Some of us may be develop and scan films to our beloved Gallery Stores. But i believe most of us have tried develop and scan films in the photo lab!

What is the best film photo lab in your opinion? Where is it? And why?

Is it because it produces as-sharp-as-blade scan results?
Is it because it’s as cheap as your flip flop?
Is it because the lab-lady is as cute as Emma Watson?
or is it just because it’s near your house?

    Sorry not sorry:

    -Personal Studio
    -Key Largo, FL USA
-I own a Jobo, not the most advanced unit. But it can really blow out some rolls (35mm, 120 and 4x5) and I can try experimental ideas that a lab wouldn't do. I think there are only two labs left in South Florida and they are miles away up on the mainland.

These guys know what they are doing. They provide advice, they take your film (and name, and phone number...) and develop it usually by next day afternoon/evening, they have very reasonable prices, they deal with a huge amount of film developing however keep the quality. I was always very happy with the results. Plus they are in the city center of Prague which makes them very reachable and they do have friendly opening hours (by 8pm on business days, 6pm on Saturday!). Also they have no issues with developing medium format or cross processing.
It is hard to choose the favorite, however at the moment I am absolutely amazed by what I managed to do (and they managed to develop and scan) with this one:

Ultimately as I do not develop and scan my own photos (Instax being the exception here, of course) I rely a lot on them and they have not failed me. I tend to think that all these photos are actually a result of our mutual effort:)
