Pictures from our trip to Chicago last month. It was mostly a family visit - we took my grandparents to a Sox game, but we also hit up Pitchfork Music Festival to catch Tribe Called Quest on their farewell tour. Since it was a festival, I needed to pack light, and SLR's are not allowed at this particular festival, although I saw that plenty of people had snuck them in. Pictures are double exposures of a palm leaf and the Chicago El, as well as some other stuff.

London-based live music photographer Jeremy Strange decided to take a break from the madness of music photography and took the Horizon Perfekt along with him on a journey to London, Norfolk and Edinburgh and even managed a ride on the London Eye.
I thought I knew what Lomography was - I even use a LC-A, but the La Sardina finally flipped the switch for me. I was wondering, looking at eBay why the La Sardinas were so popular. I have always thought about a picture - like actually worked for each shot, even if only a little bit, but with the La Sardina it is just so easy. I don't care what the shots look like when I shoot and half the time I don't even use the viewfinder. It is like the Lomo folks finally distilled the essence of the Lomo experience into a fun little camera.
