Holla! I’m Eva, and I’m one of the lucky Lomographers in Malaysia who received the very first batch of Belair X 6-12 cameras. Woohoo!
My first glance of the camera gives me a feeling that I’m gonna stick with medium format in the future! I’m always a fan of medium format but anyhow I seldom shoot pictures using a medium format camera. I’m confident that Belair will be part of my analogue journey from now on!
The bellows blow me away. The distinctive out-look of the camera, with the leather wrapping the camera body, it looks really vintage and sophisticated on the other hand. I just can’t wait to bring my Belair out for a romantic Lomo Walk!
Stay tune this space, or visit my LomoHome as I will be feeding my home with lots of Belair’s photo soon!

LomoAmigo Eva Zar photographed "BOUND" and couldn't wait to show us the photos. Eva then sat down with Katie Rex, who throws this one-of-a-kind party in Brooklyn, New York, to get a further look into the unique, inclusive nightlife culture she's created.

By far the oddest-looking camera I own, the Electric Eye is an auto-exposure viewfinder camera made by Bell & Howell in the late 1950s. I picked one up online and ended up with another one, that came with a very cool, retro looking carrying case, from my grandfather. It took a little while to try these two out but after running some film I found that this camera is a lot of fun to shoot with.
Thank you to everyone who helped us spread the news on the Lomo'Instant Automat Kickstarter campaign. As a treat, we're giving away a Lomo'Instant Wide to one of the lomographers who blogged about our newest instant camera!
