I received a package from Lomography yesterday afternoon and I thought “I didn’t buy anything recently, could it be a wrong postage?” But the information on the package was indeed mine!
After I opened the package I saw a white layer protecting a beautiful box with the words “Belair X 6-12” printed on it. I felt a bit suspicious. I thought I was supposed to receive it on Christmas Eve. Did an angel send this to me? After making a few inspections there was no doubt that I did in fact finally receive my Belair X 6-12 Globetrotter!
Since it’s an early Christmas present, I decided to share it with my best buddies. We opened the package together after Sunday Mass.
We carefully opened the protective layer and the box. Getting ready to see it for real!
It is so precious! It’s even covered with a piece of fine flannel.
Wow! This is Belair X 6-12 Globetrotter! Fine aluminum alloy and snake print on the camera body, I couldn’t believe I was holding one of the limited 300 cameras in my hands. Let’s carefully study how to use this camera (due to its striking outlook, others around us had begun to pay attention to it too!) So let’s all study together!
As soon as I unpacked the camera, I immediately loaded it with a roll of Lomography CN 800/120 negative.
Which lens is best to be installed? It made me hesitate for a while but I decided to just take one of them!
Huh? 2 batteries need to be loaded? Not to worry, luckily I have my everyday LOMO LC-A+ camera. So I just transferred the batteries from there!
Another buddy can’t help but pick up the camera and had the overwhelming desire to click the shutter button. Since this is a special present, I should definitely make use of it to capture my lovely friends’ happy smiles.
