2

How do you make the most out of the Sprocket Rocket? Here are ten easy ideas to shoot rockin' sprocket-holed photographs!

Go Wide

Start off with the basic: take advantage of the Sprocket Rocket's super wide angle panoramic vista by capturing breathtaking landscape images.

Shoot a Portrait

While this camera is great for capturing sweeping landscapes, it's also an excellent camera for taking portraits. Do it!

Be a Minimalist

Make use of the frame's wide space by isolating your subject to one or a few certain parts for dramatic, minimalist images.

Flip It

How about switching to a different view? Shoot your subject in a vertical view by flipping your camera.

Do the Reverse

Amp up your double/multiple exposure game with the Sprocket Rocket's reverse gear feature—a first among analog cameras!

Mix It Up

Fill your frame with faces using the reverse gear, the MX function, or both! Experiment with these features to maximize your camera's creative potential.

Master the Lighting Situations

Since the Sprocket Rocket has fixed shutter speed (N (1/100) and B) and just two aperture settings (cloudy (f/10.8) and sunny (f/16)), always be wary of the lighting conditions so you can use film in the appropriate ISO.

Stay Classy in Black & White

Rock your sprockets in monochrome. Use black and white emulsion for a timeless twist on sprocketed panoramas.

Switch on the Bulb

Light streaks and light paintings? No problem! For long exposure and light painting aficionados, the Sprocket Rocket has a Bulb mode. Use it well.

Pattern Frenzy

Be a pop artist and shoot repeating subjects. By doing this, you're weaving patterns into your prints!

Nice article, for my favorite LOMO camera!
I would like to add something, though - always make sure that your film is properly strained, using both of your camera's rolls, before taking your picture. Otherwise you might get some weird bending at the sides of your image. :)
