Petzval Lomographer of The Week: Umeshu
3 5 Share TweetSunny weather is reason enough for a pictorial. Shoot anytime, anywhere, or maybe take a walk on the wild side with your beloved Petzval Lens and go to the Zoo.
Nature;s beauty is abundant with colors, textures and variety. Birds also happen to embody such characteristics. The always proud rooster with its air of superiority and the elegance and bright pink tones of the flamingos’ feathers were the perfect subjects for this Petzval shoot.
Still, half of the grace of zoos would be gone if it weren’t for the children, with their wide-open eyes and looming curiosity, looking everywhere with surprise and excitement. Can you imagine what is like to see, for example, an elephant for the first time?! Being able to capture the endless expressions on their faces throughout those moments of novelty is an absolutely priceless experience, and the Petzval never fails to deliver the perfect focus to capture these.
Now, what is easier to spot at a zoo: a wild animal or an avid photographer? It’s a tough choice, but we’ll go with the second one. Amateur photographers, professional photographers, all of them trying to get the best angles and the biggest amount of animals in one film roll- or memory card!
Nonetheless, our eyes are on one photographer only: umeshu, the Lomographer behind these endearing images, and our Petzval Lomographer of the Week!
