Petzval Lomographer of the Week: emkei

In front of the camera, children are natural charmers and the Petzval Lens’ signature swirly bokeh further accentuates this fact.

Lomographer emkei bags the Petzval Lomographer of the Week crown with his monochromatic album, Kids in the Forest. Aside from the fairy tale-like atmosphere of the photographs, we were magnetized by the sweet expressions and playful poses of the two featured children.

Emkei mounted the New Petzval 85 in a Canon EOS 1N camera. He used a roll of Ilford HP5 to achieve the rich black and white tone.
