"Be An Explorer" Campaign: the LomoWall Exhibition

We always mention “LomoWall” in the Be An Explorer campaign, but do you know what a LomoWall is?

The first LomoWall was set up in 1992. Since then, it has become an iconic way of showcasing thousands of Lomographs. Each and every photo tells different stories and thus, builds up a unique world, which perfectly represents the spirit of Lomography! In the past 20 years, Lomography also exhibited in New York, London, Moscow, Vienna, South Korea, Beijing and Hong Kong for LomoWall exhibitions.

This time, Lomography Hong Kong has teamed up with Fashion Walk to create a new analogue photography exhibition, including a 80-meter long outdoor LomoWall, which is made up from over 28,000 photos submitted by Lomographers from all over the world. Can you imagine how the actual view of the LomoWall is? Do you still remember the 50m short sprint in track and field? Yea, they are pretty much the same. We hope that the LomoWall exhibition would allow you to rethink those little things in life. There’s always something fun to enjoy in life. Did you notice that?

Let’s get you out of your comfort zone to explore your city in a totally different angle; when you think things in a different way and experiment, you’ll find that there’s always something fun to enjoy in your everyday life!

As mentioned previously, we collected Lomographs from all over the world, submitted by the Lomography Community. Meanwhile, Lomography Hong Kong has teamed up with Fashion Walk to create a new analogue photography competition – Be A City Explorer. Some of the best photos are also showcased at the LomoWall Exhibition.

There is also an analogue camera exhibition right next to the LomoWall, allowing you to know more about the analogue camera launched by Lomography .

Starting July 8, the LomoWall will be exhibited in Paterson Street, Fashion Walk. Invite your friends for a creative photo session!

In today’s busy society, continuous and repetitive life patterns always lead us to sometimes feel lost in the midst of it all. Lomography Hong Kong has teamed up with Fashion Walk to create a new analogue photography exhibition.
