Intimacy: Film Photographs by Atisha Paulson

When he’s not shooting editorials for magazines and campaigns, New York-based photographer Atisha Paulson is busy taking photographs of raw and intimate moments on film.

Atisha Paulson’s photography can be described with a few words: real, powerful, and simple. Paulson veers away from the usual studio setup and after-shoot effects. He keeps it basic and fine tunes his shots to the bare essentials. He captures his subjects’ emotion in between shots – no fuss, no nonsense, and no pretence. And that’s all you ever need when it comes to making your point across.

Paulson’s work documents the passing real moments in life. Most of the time, mundane; but once in a while provides a captivating sight that is committed in memory.
