This trip was memorable because it turned out to be a complete disaster. If something could go wrong, it did: bed bugs, hunger, terrible weather, witnessing a horse die, getting lost. Yet, I also saw astoundingly beautiful landscapes and met incredibly kind people. For that, I am forever grateful.
