A New Mystery Product - For Every Photographer, On Every Occasion - Clue No. 1

28

We’re introducing a brand new Mystery Product soon, and we’re pretty excited! Before we do though, we’re going to give you some hints to see if you can guess what we’ve been working on!

For the first clue, perhaps you should turn your search to the sky above. Maybe there’s some evidence hidden in a dusty lunar crater, or even riding on the back of a meteor. What we will tell you however is that the versatility of our latest creation is of planetary proportions, and gives you artistic possibilities as limitless as the number of stars in the sky.

I guess its another Jupiter lens, but I hope for a new plastic camera with some nice and funny features... just like some years ago.

    If it's a lens I hope it's for Nikon/Canon rather than Leica M.

Would be nice if they would put out a new Sprocket Rocket type camera.

    My guesses:

    - A deep field lens

    - A re-issue of an Astron lens

    - Something to do with Gemini (the twin) - double exposures are an interesting clue, but few people take double exposures seriously enough to devote a camera system to it

    - A telescope adapter (not likely)

    - The second photo says 'cloud atlas' - everything is connected (but why and how?), but that is a Soviet rocket

    - I see a chart with at least one moon of Jupiter and one moon of Saturn

    - These clues indirectly point to the 1950s, so SIRIO174 could be right...

Camera with a light meter that has memory, so the camera may be set to allow for combined auto exposure of two or more successive shots using the same film frame.

If it's a lens I hope it's for Nikon / Canon INSTEAD of Leica M.

    support the lense guesser track...
just do not like so much the either or thing going on between canon/nikon/leica.
IF the new product is "versatile of planetary" proportion, we all might get lucky. ;-)

Makes me think of the Osprey. It is a helicopter and it is a plane. But it is. It a good helicopter and it is not a good plane. Lesson; perfect a vehicle for a singular purpose. Then, perfect another. Get it?

More lenses? Please just work on a new camera, nobody makes new film cameras these days and Lomography could really do a nice one.
