Film Photography Day 2017 Line-Up Of Events!

Film Photography Day is here and we can’t wait to share it with photography lovers around the world! To mark this analogue occasion, we’re hosting parties, workshops and exhibits — so you can celebrate wherever you are.

As an extra hurray for analogue, we’ll also be celebrating our latest instant creation — the Lomo’Instant Automat Glass. With the first wide-angle glass lens to grace the world of instant photography, your pictures will be bolder and sharper than ever before. We’re throwing parties in our London, Hong Kong, NYC and Paris Gallery Stores in collaboration with our Film Photography Day events, so don’t miss out!

Join us in Soho on 12 April to celebrate both Film Photography Day and the Lomo’Instant Automat Glass. With sparkly photo-booths, drinks and some delicious baked goods from Choccywoccydoodah you’re in for a treat! We’ll also be exhibiting some excellent instant photographs shot by our dedicated community members and amigos.

Build your very own wooden film case in collaboration with Twenty One From Eight where you can show off and store your marvellous instant pictures. Take part and get all your material for the day for 750HKD!

Tokyo

To celebrate Film Photography Day — our favorite time of year — join us on a mystery tour of Tokyo! You can even shoot with the brand new Lomo’Instant Automat Glass and iconic LC-A+ to make the day extra special. Taking part costs 800JPY, for the tour, a roll of film and you can borrow the cameras to your heart’s delight!

Come and celebrate FIlm Photography Day in Paris with an extra special guest — the brand new Lomo’Instant Automat Glass. An exhibition of instants shot by local artists, an awesome DJ set and of course plenty of drinks are just a few of the things we have planned for you on the day. This year we will celebrate the Film Photography Day with a 3D exhibition opening in the Lomography Embassy Store Istanbul! The exhibition — Untitled — will be a showcase of 3D pinhole photos taken by Osman Demir in the ancient Greek city-state Salamis.Join us for this special day with coffee and 3D glasses provided!
