A friend and I visited Frankfurt am Main (aka Mainhattan) in Germany this summer. We attended an Italian Genre Film Festival called Terza Visione there at Deutsches Filmmuseum, but we also spent some time strolling around the city. We drank our first coffee of the day at the main station, visited the local flea market next to the river Main (which is a great place to buy old film cameras and lenses by the way - I found a Cosina 28mm lens in perfect condition for my Ricoh) and enjoyed a few exhibitions.

Frankfurt am Main is an amazing city for a short trip. And its architecture made almost entirely out of glass and steel makes black and white film the perfect choice, I think.
