Thursday 7 December, 11am-5pm, Lomography Gallery Store Soho: Neptune Convertible Art Lens System Trial Session

After months of hard work and tons of support from incredible people all over the world, the Neptune Convertible Art Lens System is now available online and in Gallery Stores around the world! With a choice of three different fixed focal lengths, a dual aperture system and special aperture plates, this small and lightweight system is everything you need on any photography venture. Join us at our Soho store to try it out for yourself!

We’ve set up a sparkly festive backdrop so that you can shoot stunningly sharp portraits at the three fixed focal lengths of 35mm, 50mm or 80mm, and use the special drop-in aperture plates to create beautiful bokeh effects. Whether you’re treating yourself or surprising your favorite photographer, this trial session is the perfect way to get to grips with our brand new Art Lens System.

Saturday 9 December, 1pm, Lomography Gallery Store Soho: Christmas Light Bonanza with the LC-A+

Join us at our Soho store where we’ll take you through all the funky features of our iconic 35mm compact camera and teach you the best tips and tricks for capturing the festive lights this holiday season. Once we’re all clued up, we’ll go on an adventure in the surrounding area to take some fantastic photos of the best Christmas lights that London has to offer!

We are delighted to invite you to the launch of 'FANTASMAS', a fantastic analogue photo book created by photographer Kamila K Stanley in partnership with graphic designer Fanny Myon. When Kamila returned to Brazil for the carnival earlier this year, she found a country disillusioned, transformed and feverish — and captured it in stunning photographs. FANTASMAS draws a sparkling and obscure portrait: behind the scenes, the chimeras of a country that we always see hidden behind dazzling masks.Come and join us to get a first look at some of the incredible images and celebrate the launch of this beautiful book!

Come along to this workshop to find out how to develop your black & white film at home and create super experimental results! We'll be lending each of you a Diana F+ loaded with a roll of black & white, and taking you on a photo walk to take some moody monochrome shots. Then, when we get back, we'll show you how to use beer as a base for your development formula to create unique pictures. Saturday 23 December 2017, Lomography Embassy Store Gijón: The Possibilities of Instant Photography Workshop
Come and get creative with instant photography down at our Embassy store in Gijón! We'll be showing you how to use a range of Lomography instant cameras to create unique, surprising and Lomographic results. We'll also be teaching you how to use instant film with large format cameras using special accessories; how to use emulsion to transfer your shots onto stone, paper and other experimental materials; and, finally, how to use instant film with a pinhole camera. That means that every attendee will go home with a transfer, an emulsion lift, a pinhole photograph and an instant photograph taken with the Lomo'Instant Wide! This all-day workshop is running twice as places are so limited, so make sure you book your place now! Photographer Vendula Mlejnská will be leading a class on all things analogue photography, and teaching you to develop your own photos at home like a true darkroom expert. Don't worry if you've never picked up an analogue camera or been in the darkroom before — we'll lend you a camera and Vendula Mlejnská will show you everything you need to know. It's the perfect way to dive into analogue photography.
