Art saves. When you're feeling down and blue, remember that there's always the camera to aid you through the darker days.
We all have them -- the dark days. The reality is no one else but ourselves can save us from our battles, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't seek help. It's the first step. Art therapy usually works for people in struggle, channeling lonesomeness and feelings of nothingness into works of art. Photographer Ryan Pfluger relies on photography as a part of bettering his life, considers it his own therapy. For him, photography is “a way for me to meet people that were outside of the safe mental bubble I had created for myself.”
