"I lived in Kunming, China, for many years. Wandering around the city I found a series of unusual backgrounds. Immediately I started to think of parallel universes. These backgrounds inspired me to create a photo of the concept of a visual travel that can be also a sort of mind travel."

"It was a collaboration between me and my Lomo buddy @ngmail using the Lomo LC-A+ together with the Splitzer. We began experimenting by shooting half frame. We didn’t really set much rules before we shoot. Basically we "Don’t think and just shoot" whatever we felt like taking. For myself, since I’m taking the right frame, I’ve decided to have something or someone who are going towards the left direction. After developing, I was so amazed with the result! It seems like the cyclist and the building structure were combined as one. I guess that’s the amazing thing about Lomography: Having unexpected results especially with double exposure and Splitzer."

"This was taken during my late dog’s first visit to the dog pool. I just loved how he kept his eyes on me to make sure i was always close to him. His name is Cody and he has since passed on. But this picture will forever eternalise all the good times we’ve had. Rest in paradise, Cody."

"My friend and I woke up at 3:30 in the morning to drive and catch the sunrise on the beach for a little photo session. Abby was such a trooper, she was getting (basically) naked in 25-degree weather! It was freezing."

"This picture was made during the second day of my trip to the island of Zanzibar. It’s a nice, beautiful, amazing spot for kitesurfing, which was the main reason why I went there. Clear, deep blue skies is juxtaposed with the incredible white sand of the beach. Due to the ocean tide, when the wind blows, the water becomes the perfect place for daily kitesurf sessions. But when the water recedes into the ocean, the wind disappears and the people use that moment for fishing and growing their seaweed."
"As I sat on the sand and waited for the wind to blow, these women passed by me while they were going into the wide expanse of white sand to look for food. Hearing voices, I turned my head. Quickly, I saw a surprise: explosion of color. With LC-A+ in hand, I stood up, walked near them, extended my hand, and made the shot. It was a good sensation capturing the world around, like all the other good sensations for all senses I felt in Zanzibar. It’s an incredible island to free your mind."

"In summer 2012, I went to the swimming pool near my friend''s house and took my LC-A+ and the Splitzer everywhere. If you look at my old photos, you'll see many photos take double exposure shot with a splitzer."
"Summer in Thailand is very, very hot and it's always 40 ํ when I hang out. During this time, the sky was of a deep blue hue and nice cloud floated by. I aimed and shot very fast, with the splitzer covering the bottom half of the lens. After five minutes past. my friend @lian_meinv swam in the pool, so I shot the second half."
"When I saw the result. I was shocked for a second. This photo means so much to me. Timing, color, the model, I love all everything and I know I can’t make the same shot again."

"This was a very unexpected trip to the beautiful Mahe island. At that time, I worked in a fashion magazine as assistant to the editor-in-chief and of course had no budget for such a trip. Then one day, the beauty editor of the magazine said, 'We have a proposal from Four Seasons Hotel in Seychelles to send a journalist from our magazine for a press-tour to Mahe island, and we want to send you.'"
"Wow! That was a surprise and a happy one at that! A month later, I was flying to this paradise island with the great company of four journalists from other magazines. We spent four unforgettable days in the Seychelles island. I shot 16 rolls of film and bathed in the ocean for the first time in my life!"
"Few days after I returned home, I loaded my Lomo LC-A+ with a new roll, went shooting, and noticed that the battery was low so the shutter didn't open. That was a very bad surprise as I didn't know when it happened and if any of my Seychelles rolls were in fact empty. To be honest, I was scared to death."
"So I grabbed all the rolls and hurried to the lab, and then lived in total stress for three more days, waiting for the rolls to be developed. Luckily only one of them was half empty and all the rest were safe and sound, full of bright, colorful images of the islands."
"This particular shot is the quintessence of the trip: happy, fun, joyful and very bright. It's a lucky surprise as well as I didn't expect my friend to do a handspring which turned out to be a great shot!"

"I took this picture some years ago in my trip to Thailand. That day we hired an small cruise to visit Phi Phi Islands. Towards the end of the day, the tour guide give us some free time and my friend and I decided to go to Koh Phi Phi Viewpoint to enjoy the landscape and take some pictures. We arrived some minutes late to our boat and the group left to Krabi, so we bought a ferry ticket to return."
"This kid was in that ferry with his family. He had a seat behind, alone, and he was for a while enjoying the view through the window. I had the feeling that time has stood still. It was a peaceful and poetic moment. The sunset was pink while we sailed on slowly and I had a camera with a warm colour film inside it. I was very lucky to caught this moment."
"I love this picture."
