Neon Swim: Blondiegraphy's Psychedelic Pools Taken with Daguerreotype Achromat Art Lens

For the fine art portraitist such as Justine Decroix, known as Blondiegraphy, the perfect portrait shot has successfully captured the soul, and she has successfully done so with a hybrid of color and noir aesthetics using the Daguerreotype Achromat 2.9/64 Art Lens.

Like in her Petzval 85 portraits, human emotions are pivotal to this new series of hers, too. But this time, she utilized lighting and colors to evoke those emotions than merely relying on body language. In the darkness of the night, she used the Daguerreotype Achromat 2.9/64 Art Lens to make the spots and beams of light as if they're moving — like fleeting emotions.

Strokes of yellow for joy, green for envy, blue for melancholy, red for passion, and more mixes in between, her model and muse Julie looks as if she's swimming in her own pool of feelings — the feelings that make up her humanity.

The French photographer is no stranger to the Daguerreotype Achromat 2.9/64 Art Lens, having already used the lens for psychedelic foliage.
