Swing Into Spring with Lomography

1

Spring symbolizes a fresh beginning. Whether it's a brand new camera, a cool haircut, or the start of an adventure, spring is the perfect time to let loose and try something new. How about a fun getaway with your family and friends? Roll out the map, pack your bags and go somewhere you've never been.

Be Ready For Anything

Traveling somewhere new means that there are plenty of unique experiences to get excited about. Keep an open mind and remember that sometimes, things may not go as planned and that's perfectly fine! Keep a Simple Use Film Camera handy for quick snapshots of road trip adventures.

Pack a High ISO Film

Catch the sunrise and chase the sunset with speedy film like Lomography Color Negative 400 or Lomography Color Negative 800. With high ISO film you can shoot with confidence in all kinds of lighting conditions —without the need for flash.

Embrace Spontaneity

A lot of awesome things can happen in a heartbeat, so better be quick with that camera click. Never let a moment escape and make sure you always have an instant camera to hand with you at all times. The Lomo'Instant Automat is a perfect pick because it's fully automatic, so there is no need to fuss around with settings — it’ll adjust shutter speed, aperture and flash output for you! .

Pay Attention to Little Details

While everyone else is focused on ‘‘typical’’ views and famous landmarks, swivel round and do some more meaningful sightseeing of your own. Find beauty in things that are easily overlooked. A small, compact camera like the Lomo LC-Wide has an ultra-wide 17mm angle lens that will capture all the fascinating details that you’ll discover.

Look For Hidden Gems

Seek hole-in-the-wall restaurants and obscure shops. Make friends with the locals, and, if you're lucky, they'll share some secret spots. Record your favorite finds with Lomo'Instant cameras — there's a fantastic variety of formats available, depending on your creative needs. Go for the Lomo'Instant Square for super crisp headshots, pick the Lomo'Instant Wide for group photos and sweeping views, or the Lomo'Instant Automat for no-fuss snaps.

I've just come back from Budapest for the first time www.lomography.com/homes/richardhall/albums/2169524-budapes…
Bought a Smena Symbol to go with the K1000 and Holga that I took with me. Not massively adventurous, perhaps. But exciting by my standards.
