Our super team member Edwin Chau just got back to the Lomography Hong Kong office after his trip to Morocco. He used the Diana Instant Square to capture tons of stunning scenery across Morocco and the Sahara desert. Take a look at his shots, and read what he had to say about his adventures with our box of luscious lo-fi magic!

How was your trip to Morocco? What impressed you the most?

The Sahara desert is a must-see when you head to Morocco. Yellowish dunes are what we usually think of when we talk about the desert, but that wasn't all the Sahara had to offer — we also enjoyed the best and unforgettable starry night, as the desert is completely dark. We spent four days exploring the Sahara.

What do you like about the Diana Instant Square ?

I love the Diana Instant Square. It has simple settings, and there are tons of different lens attachments that you can use. All of these lens attachments are super lightweight, which makes the Diana Instant Square a travel essential for your shoulders!

Any tips for using the Diana Instant Square?

If you are a photography beginner, I believe the biggest challenge for you will be the aperture settings. I suggest using the camera under the bright sun with the smallest aperture (f/32). When you've got the hang of this, you'll be ready to tackle the other settings.

fantastic photos! Kicking myself now for buying a polaroid because I certainly don't get the colours from that film vs instax.
