I have been accepted as the member of PPAS (Professional Photographer Association Singapore), attained Licentiate of Commercial category in MPA (Master Photographer Association UK) and a Certified wedding photographer in WPJA (Wedding PhotoJournalist Association).

I started out as a photographer a decade ago because of passion and I wanted to explore more into this form of art apart of what I do as a director and video editor before that.

How would you describe your photographic style in three words?

Colorful, Humanistic and Happy.

How was your experience shooting with the Petzval Lens?

I had fun experimenting with the Petzval lens on outdoor still-life, portraits and even on freezing motions with some lighting setup. No doubt that it is a fully manual lens that requires more time in getting sharp images but I love the way it is with the side knob for adjusting the lens barrel to focus. It does give me a fresh experience for setting the aperture by sliding the aperture plate into the lens. It’s retro cool.

Please share your favorite photo from the ones that you shot with Lomography Petzval Lens, and the story behind it.

Since I know that Petzval is a full manual lens and it comes with some cool shapes aperture plates. I did a lighting setup shoot in my room on photographing motion. I did some strawberry splash shots and my favorite photo is the one that shows my hand crushing a tomato and shot with a star aperture plate and I really like that effects straight out of the camera without manipulating it in Photoshop.
