Junior Community Manager

Lomography is looking for a curious, motivate and highly organized individual to administrate our community, related photo content, competitions and international social media channels. As the Junior Community Manager, you will have the opportunity to connect with our passionate community worldwide. You will work closely with the Marketing team in the Vienna HQ and will get an understanding of all online communication channels. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who has an affinity for words, arts and culture and wishes to work in a multicultural environment, with a large community of creative individuals!

Lomography is a globally active organization dedicated to experimental and creative analogue photography. Originally established in 1992 by a group of offbeat students as an arts movement, but fuelled by fiery passion and burning curiosity, the Lomographic Society soon grew into an international venture.
Our snapshots are characterized by vibrant colours, surprise effects and pure spontaneity. We have over a million creative members across the world and invite you to let loose, ignite your inspiration and to catapult your shots around the globe through our online platform. Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute the social media schedule on all channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Youtube, …)
  • Brainstorm and coordinate social media campaigns together with the Head of Marketing
  • Write, supervise and organize the voting for Lomography photo competitions
  • Create engaging content and ensure a consistent tone of voice
  • Supervise and interact with the community worldwide
  • Work closely with designers, in-house photographers and videographers for the production of social media assets
  • Performance monitoring and reporting of social media and community-related KPIs
  • Support with the copy and maintenance of Social Media Advertising campaigns
Requirements:
  • Excellent English
  • Social Media native with an affinity for words and content
  • Previous experience with online communities
  • Experience with analogue photography and/or Lomography products is a big plus
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop or content editing tools such as Canva is a plus
  • Curious, imaginative and organized with strong communication skills
  • Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply
