ABOUT THE JOB

As a Product Designer, you will play a key role in crafting and developing new and captivating product designs for Lomography, with a focus on analogue photography. Your primary responsibility will be to conceptualize and create innovative designs that resonate with our global community of photography enthusiasts, artists, and creatives. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, marketers, and project managers, you will ensure that the products not only meet technical requirements but also align with market demands while reflecting our passion for analogue photography.

In this position, your creative vision, attention to detail, and ability to identify trends in analogue photography will be essential to deliver exceptional design concepts. Responsibilities
  • Product idea generations starting from research, strategy building and design concepts for in-house products
  • Project briefing setup and presentation
  • Virtual and physical model building for development process and engineering executions
  • Supports on solving prototyping/ samples/ production problems
Requirements
  • Degree or above in Industrial/ Product design or related disciplines
  • Good knowledge on analog photography and photographic equipments
  • Proficiency in engineering 3D software modelling e.g. Solidwork/ Creo Parametric/ Fusion 360
  • Experience on handcrafting prototypes & 3D printing
  • Good communication and presentation skill in English and Chinese
  • Proactive, detail-minded, energetic & willing to explore
  • Experience on mechanical design, electronic products, understanding on manufacturing processes will be an advantage
