The Road Goes Ever Downward

Dreaded Hill gets its name from the fact that the south trail leading to its summit goes on and on, exhausting hikers who climb it -- especially in hot weather. It is much easier going downhill, but you still have to watch out for steep slopes. You think "I've got to climb that thing? Oh God!"
