LomoMission: Cinematic Shots: Lomography X British Film Institute - A Fellini Season

Lomography has teamed up with the British Film Institute (BFI) and CultFilms UK, which is celebrating the centenary of Italian filmmaker Federico Fellini, to offer you fantastic Fellini-themed prizes.

Italian filmmaker Fredrico Fellini is widely regarded as one of the most influential filmmakers in the 20th century. He is most famous for films such as La Dolce Vita, La Strada, and Nights of Cabiria. The British Film Institute (BFI) is celebrating his 100th birthday this year with a special Fellini season in partnership with Luce – Cinecittà. Throughout January and February, they will be screening a retrospective of his work which includes a 4K restoration of La Dolce Vita.

We’ve teamed up with BFI and CultFilms UK to offer you the chance to win amazing Fellini-themed prize. On top of this, you could win a Lomokino to start your own film journey and online vouchers, too! To enter this competition, simply submit your best cinematic shot. This can be a subtle portrait, an action shot or landscape. Anything you think has a cinematic quality.

1st prize - 1 x Lomokino, BFI Membership, and a fantastic Fellini box set, courtesy of CultFilms UK, that includes the four essential Fellini films in one must-have boxset collection. One of the most original creative minds of the 20th Century, Fellini is unanimously voted by critics and filmmakers as one of the greatest directors of all time. Titles include 8 ½, La Dolce Vita, Giuietta degli Spiriti, and I Vitelloni.

2nd prize - BFI Membership and a Spring Film Pass (Three pairs of tickets to any film screening at the BFI in February and/or March) plus a £20 voucher for the Lomography online shop.

3rd prize - A copy of the BFI’s new artwork for La Dolce Vita plus a pair of tickets to a film of the winner’s choice screening at the BFI in February or March. Plus a 10% discount code for the Lomography online shop.

Each participant may submit up to 10 photographs. This competition is for UK residents only. Competition Closes on February 21st.
