The mask is done with a sheet of plastic which has relief, that I burnt. The film is 100ISO and the Sprocket Rocket is designed for 400ISO so I asked for an E06 process +2 stops: it came out really over-exposed, I just saved a few pictures at the scan. The photographer told me that the film was probably old (even the theoretically non-exposed parts of the film where exposed)

Why so many pix of my cats? Not because I am kind of a pathetic grand'ma, just because they are perfect models: They are always available, they never complain, they don't pretend to be the model, they don't do stupid faces like chicken mouth, they don't complain that they are MUCH MORE pretty in real that the picture, they don't care about FB. Nevertheless if some people wants to play the model, please, LET ME KNOW! And yes, I am a pix psychotic...

Expired, partially damaged roll shot 3 years back and developed only about a week back. It's funny how some shots came out nice and contrasty and others seem dull and dusty.

  • Both sides of the daily life

    shared by hodachrome on 2012-06-27

Exposing both sides of the film (EBS). I shot on correct(normal) side first in a sunny/bright day, at ISO400(ISO800 film inside). Below half of the lense was masked with a splitzer. After finished a roll, reverse the film (in a dark-room). Then start shooting on redscale side in a cloudy/rainy day, at ISO200. Upper half was masked with a splitzer. The order of each location is precisely the same as 1st shots. I took notes in details about locations and shot all places with iPhone, to remember locations. Need patience, concentration, and accuracy for this challenge. Plus must be careful with 'gaps' between frames. Have a look at my article about this technique: http://www.lomography.com/magazine/tipster/2013/01/14/tipster-how-to-take-symmetrical-images-with-exposing-both-sides-of-the-film-ebs

    shared by moodification on 2012-06-27

We went for a little trip to Amsterdam with our dear friend artichekt. What a beautiful city! So many contrasts, still very relaxed and easy-going. The LomoStore alone is worth the travel, really a great place! I'll definitely come back again to this awesome city!

A roll of film I've been neglecting to develop. Not sure were the leaks came from; it's all on one side. Most likely because I just let it sit on the shelf under a lamp.

Test roll of homemade redscale800 for 120. Originally Kodak Portra800. About 30 seconds exposed. Little bit under-exposed than I expected. Not so different from Lomography Redscale 50-200. Color saturation and contrast are rich enough. Will test again.
