Nice album, I would be very interested to know which filter you used for these shots, I noticed you tagged CPLfilter, is this a brand? In Perth we have a very similar light, in fact too much light! in the summer, in mid day. I have been thinking about a filter to balance things out.

Thank you V much! @vince-bj I have used a Circular Polarizing Filter (CPLfilter). Not a particular one. Easily you will find information about these type of filters; easily you can find where to buy them. On the lens of my mamiya, sekor 80 2.8., I'm using a Nikon Circular Polar II 58mm; on the lens of my Canon AE1, fd 50 1.4, Heliopan 52mm. We rotate them manually: more or less light to pass through the lens... The effect is the darkening of the sky (if they have too much light, they are excellent; but with less light we can use them as well) and the improvement of the contrast, highlighting colours and/or objects... If you are using a camera without TTL metering (through the lens metering), we have to compensate 1.5 to 3 stops, it depends. In my opinion, colour images are much better using a CPLfilter. Very happy if these words are pertinent. :D

Thank you, very helpful, especially your tips on metering for the filter. I have a Mamiya 645 without TTL, so I will need to compensate.
