BUSI-villedge in Itijyouydani-valley in Fukui-Pref Japan, The remains of the castle town of the Sengoku daimyo Asakura clan were buried in good condition. Excavation research of the ruins began in 1967, and in 1971, 278ha including Ichijodani Castle was designated as a national special historic site.
