Almost Surreal - Rio de Janeiro trough an Holga…
shared by pitfall on 2012-01-07When I decided to travel to Rio, I was pretty much decided I was shoot some redscale stuff. Said and done, fortunately. And also fortunately, for the first time, my Holga light leaked, giving me some pretty pleasant surprises. I also think that it might have been some error when the lab was processing the film, given the odd color tones in some photos and a clear break in tones on a specific one. I really liked the results, redscale film seem to be a perfect match for this scenario. And these are my first home scanned photos, on my new Epson Perfection V600. Good machine!

Gorgeous view
shared by natalieerachel on 2011-12-06Went on a hike with my dad, and changed our course three times. Finally, we decided to hike partway up the back of Koko Head. I forgot how wide the Fisheye lens actually was and over compensated for a lot of shots. It was a cloudy morning so the pictures aren't very happy looking. But I still had a great time!

Mysterious?
shared by natalieerachel on 2011-05-13I unknowingly loaded used spinner film from London into my mini and created my own doubles. On top of that, I also soaked the film in citrus-y goodness! (One of my favorite places to go when I like to be by myself is on the boat docks by the marina. I like how the water sparkles and the silence is perfect.)

Mountains to Lake Isabella
shared by dudizm on 2011-12-07We had a great time on our way to the lake, beautiful panoramas on a perfect day light. Once arrived at the lake, I climbed to the top of a hill to shoot panoramic amazing views. the view was breathless... On my way back down the hill I dropped my sprocket, I saw the scene in my mind in 1/2 a second, slow motion, the camera opened straight after hitting the rock, and a the film totally exposed... I was ruined, I didn't want to process it but in the end I gave the roll with a bunch of others to the lab and only 3 pictures came out with strong leeks, but at least I have something to help me remember this journey!

shared by vicuna on 2012-01-041st day out in 2012, at the motu (little sand island in the lagoon) with a friends boat for a little picnic and relaxing afternoon. I shot with the Krab and noticed it gave the picture a strange light reflection at the bottom of each shot...
