I found some more photos of Rouen, shot last year with different cameras - a Minolta AF reflex, a Reto Ultra Wide and the Sprocket Rocket. Today, "Hotel de Bourgtheroulde", an gothic mansion from the 16th century. Previous galleries can be seen here : the Art Museum : https://www.lomography.com/homes/mackiechartres/albums/2432537-05-2023-rouen-normandy-musee-des-beaux-arts the Gros Horloge street https://www.lomography.com/homes/mackiechartres/albums/2432699-05-2023-rouen-rue-du-gros-horloge skulls and bones https://www.lomography.com/homes/mackiechartres/albums/2432775-05-2023-skulls-and-bones-rouen-aitre-saint-maclou the cathedral https://www.lomography.com/homes/mackiechartres/albums/2432624-05-2023-rouen-the-cathedral and yes, the weather was not fantastic !

  • Argentina #30 - Beagle Channel #2

    shared by gheinz on 2024-04-19

Without a doubt, the most beautiful excursion of our stay in Ushuaia: the boat trip on the Beagle Channel. It was cold, but what a spectacle. The sea wolves, the wild birds, the scouts' lighthouse, the spectacular natural setting, the location of the two opposing shores, the Chilean to the south, the Argentinian to the north. Here's the second part, shot with a Lomography Color Negative 800 roll, and my favorite Nikkor 50mm lens.

The Canon Prima (or Sure shot, in the US) are very reliable cameras. The last series of them were marketed in the early 2000's so they have a lot of features in a small body, and you can easily find them brand new for a low price. I have both the the Zoom 130 and the Zoom 180, bought them brand new (box included) for 30 bucks each or so, and make very sharp and clear photos. Highly recommanded !

I tried to take pictures in pairs with the Alfie Tych 1/2 frame camera. It was difficult because it lacks double exposure control and sometimes I got carried away by my idea for the second shot so that I forgot to wind on which led to double exposures. Developed and scanned by LomoLab Vienna who do a nice job scanning in pairs.
