Took in trip in January to see my son out in New Mexico. Spent some time in the high desert and in White Sands National Park. Great trip. Taken with Kodak Tri-X and developed in HC-110, Dilution H (my goofed version: 15.5 ml of syrup for 32 oz. of working solution) for 9 minutes in a stainless steel take (2 x 120 reels).
I attended 2 workshops for Cyanotypes and Gum Bichromate and I have to say I loved them. It's a trully remarkable and seriously fulfilling experience to work with these methods. I tried both botanical photograms and printing from digital negatives. Of course there's a LOT to learn but I'm willing!!

Do you like overcast weather? I prefer sunny days for going out and shooting films, however, I also do like overcast because it's the best time to shoot with redscale! I love shooting in redscale, and in this article I'll let you in on secrets for how to master shooting in redscale in overcast weather!
Exposing both sides of the film (EBS). Double exposed on normal side at ISO400 each, with a splitzer. Also double exposed on redscale side at ISO200 each, with a splitzer. Shot dolphins first at an aquarium. After finished whole a roll I set it again into LC-A and then start shooting at an amusement park. There are only a few nice results and this is the best one. Tough challenge but worth trying :)
