   I have never gotten past the smell!! There is a Thai restaurant near me that serves a dessert of durian on warm sticky rice, VERY smelly!

   BTW... I like the nga (mangosteen?) dessert with warm sticky rice.

   @herbert-4 we normally call durian as king of fruits and mangosteen as queen as fruits

   I will never forget the smell of the Durian but it does taste nice. I like how every hotel I stayed in in Malaysia had a "NO DURIAN" sign!
