Taipei Youngsters' Hangout Spot - Ximending

In some big cities, there is always a special area where it is packed with young people, getting involved with the most up-to-date activities within the country. Like Shibuya in Tokyo, Japan for instance.

Located in Taipei city of Taiwan, Ximending also resembles one of those funkiest area within the city. Here, it is jam-packed with the newest fashions from all over the world (mainly Japan) and also some by local brands designed by young talents. Everywhere you see stalls selling little accessories from earrings to phone straps that shout out “cuteness” in your face. While walking on the streets in Ximending, do take a moment to stop at a stall or a shop and buy some delicious local snacks like the famous “ZhenNai” (abbreviation for Pearl Milk Tea). Oh, and let’s not forget about the various performances carried out by talented Taiwanese at night. You are sure to see crowds gathering around them, absorbed into the performer’s show.

If you ever have a chance to visit Taipei, do take the time to walk in Ximending and be sucked into a world filled with youth, fun and excitement.
