How to Put a Handstrap on your La Sardina

3

In this simple Tipster I’ll explain to you the necessary steps to put a handstrap to your camera La Sardina.

When I bought the La Sardina Möbius, I thought immediately about which color strap would suit it better – the green, the orange… But my surprise was when lady_diana asked me where I wanted to hook it, because the La Sardina is not made with a handstrap in mind. The thing is that the camera was going to take a long trip in one of my friend’s hands and I didn’t want for her to be uncomfortable and I didn’t want her to lose it… So thinking a bit I arrived to the conclusion of this simple and useful trick.

We’ll need:

  • Small carabiner

The tripod screw in the Lomography Sprocket Rocket. It goes under the camera. When I bought it, I removed the screw because it was uncomfortable to put the camera on a surface, so I removed it and I saved it carefully… until now.

This is the most limiting element in this trick, because if you don’t have the Sprocket, you can’t do this trick. But you can get a screw that fits in the hole and put in a washer.

Once you have all the parts, you only have to insert the carabiner into the Sprocket screw for one side and put the strap in the other side. Once the three elements are together, you can screw in the screw to any of the holes for tripod in La Sardina. ¡ and voilà! This is the result:

I think my Sardina is more beautiful (and comfortable) with it strap, ¿Don’t you think?

¡Get ready to sail the seas with La Sardina! These 35mm cameras are equipped by spectacular wide angle lens, multiple exposure function.. and all you need to make fun trips. Get your own La Sardina camera!
