Welcoming the Sunrise at Teluk Chempedak Beach, Kuantan

I love watching the sunrise, although there are only a few places to admire the sunrise in my hometown, and Teluk Chempedak is the place I usually go to do this.

Teluk Chempedak is a famous beach in Kuantan, Pahang. It is a popular place among the locals for some fun and relaxation. Most of the people from other places who visit Kuantan will pay a visit to Teluk Chempedak too. There are many things to do at the beach such as picnicking, kite flying, water sports and swimming. Teluk Chempedak is also known as a famous spot to watch the sunrise.

Teluk Chempedak is just about a 10- to 15-minute drive from my house. It has become the regular place I go to for admiring the sunrise because it is near my house and the beach is the place where I love to hang out. I have been to Teluk Chempedak for the sunrise a few times. To be able to catch the sunrise, I must be at the beach before 6.30 in the morning. Usually, I am such a lazy girl who refuse to wake up and leave my comfortable bed too early. But for the chance of welcoming a beautiful sunrise, I always set the alarm the day before and wake up immediately when the clock rings.

Sitting on the sandy beach and waiting for the sun to rise is such an amazing moment. I like how the sea breeze blows on my face gently. Once a while, I can hear birds chirping. I like to see how the sky changes its colors when the sun rises. It is stunning especially when the weather is good and the sky is clear that day.
