Lift Your Soles Up and Smile!
189 19 Share TweetWinter time. Rain, snow, wind, cold weather. This is time to remember the last summer, time to enjoy smiling photos taken outdoor in the hot season. So, lift your soles up and smile!
In my previous article, I wrote about why I like photos of feet, and I have published some photos of feet up in the air, with a wonderful blue sky on the background. In all these photos, there were portraits of the “A” side of this wonderful extremity of the human body. Now, is time to show, again “just for fun”, the “B” side of the feet. Lift up your soles, so someone can take a photos of this fantastic pose!

… and, of course, you can take a photo of the photographer! This is the “reciprocity” law, a law which leads to fun!
All these photos I chose were taken outdoors. I chose only photos in open air, in a park or at the seaside because I always associate the joy of living barefoot with a fantastic sense of freedom!
Smiling faces, lovely sunny days, good company, wonderful places! These photos transmit to me a sense of peace, happiness, and empathy to the whole world!
You can make many experiments with this pose: for example, using a wide aperture, you can focus only on the faces or on the feet. If you choose a small aperture, you can have at focus both feet and face. You can use a Fisheye, or a wide angle, to give more importance to the face (the feet appear smaller than normal), or a normal lens if you want a classic photo.

So, lift up your soles and smile!
