Russar+ Time Lapse Video Shot in Hong Kong

It has been said that time flies and that life passes by before we know it. This time-lapse video painstakingly created by the Lomography Hong Kong team illustrates these two sentiments in a few fleeting yet entertaining moments.

The images for this video were taken using the Lomography New Russar+ Lens mounted on a Sony a7 camera. With a little help from the Play Memories app, the guys from our headquarters were able to create time lapse magic by shooting an image in the same frame every second, giving us a view of Central, Sheung Wan Island, and Victoria Harbor in a continuous series of mesmerizing shots.

The New Russar+ is a stunning brass-bodied wide-angle lens. It is a pioneering update on the 1958 Russar. Thanks to its modified lens tube construction, the New Russar+ is compatible with L39 and M mount analogue cameras, digital mirrorless cameras and loads of other cameras using adaptor mounts. Visit the New Russar+ microsite for exciting information and stunning wide-angle photos.
