Saturday, May 9, 1 p.m.: Introduction to Lomography Featuring the Diana F+

Jump into the basics of analog photography with the best plastic camera around. Learn about the Golden Rules of Lomography and how this approach lends itself to creating some of the most unexpected and beautiful images. Borrow one of the most popular Lomography cameras around, the Diana F+, and find out the innumerable capabilities of this seemingly simple plastic camera.

Saturday, May 16, 1 p.m.: Palm d’Lomo, a LomoKino Workshop

Just in time for the Cannes Film Festival, take a trip down the 144-frame road with the LomoKino and experiment with its many capabilities. In this workshop, you’ll learn all the basic controls and some of the best understated techniques of this curiously analog stop-motion camera.

Saturday, May 23, 6 p.m.: Cinema Nights in a Flash

Cannes Film Festival is coming to a close by this time, and we want to prepare you with all the techniques you’ll need for snapping those red carpet photos. This indoor workshop will teach you all you ever wanted to know about the power of our flashes. From Fritz the Blitz to the Ringflash, we’ll teach you how to colorfully light up your images.

Thursday, May 28, 6 p.m.: Emily Soto: Petzval Portraits

When using the Petzval Art Lens, New York City-based fashion photographer Emily Soto captures stunning portraits that are imbued with mystery. At once hauntingly beautiful, her photos also show a stunning clarity, a duality that holds a narrative down. Join us for the opening of her solo show at our very own Lomography Gallery Store.
