LomoChrome Purple and LC-A 120: Mystical Portraits by Issa Ng
18 Share TweetStill remember the stunning fashion portraits taken with the Petzval 85 by Issa Ng? The Hong Kong based fashion photographer has once again ventured into an all-new photography project, showcasing his creative sensibilities with the LC-A 120 camera and LomoChrome Purple Film.
In this quick interview, he talks about the said project and shares his impression of LomoChrome Purple film.
Please tell us about the theme for this series of photos.
The theme is “Two of me.” I feel that we all have two sides of faces in us. I wish to project this idea in this series.
Why did you choose to shoot with the LomoChrome Purple?
This theme is quite personal and mysterious. LomoChrome Purple suits the theme the best, because the images are between imagination and reality.
What’s your impression of LomoChrome Purple?
It surpasses my expectations, as it renders color very differently. You have to imagine the final result before shooting the photos. Sometimes you will still be surprised when the final photos come out!
What else would you like to shoot with LomoChrome Purple?
I would love to use it to shoot some fashion portraits and it will surely look very special and beautiful!
