How did you get on shooting with the Daguerreotype Achromat 2.9/64 Art Lens?

This was my first time using the Daguerre lens and I have to say I'm really in love with it. We were shooting in a very sunny warehouse in Manchester, so it took me a little time to figure out the apertures to work with, and in retrospect, I wish I'd been a bit more experimental with these but time was a bit limited. I really love the soft focus. All in all I found the lens really intuitive for a first time user.

What did you choose to shoot?

I shot two models with a bridal theme, thank you Elizabeth and Miglė! Also thank you to Amanda Wyatt for the beautiful gowns.

I can definitely see why you would use this lens for wedding portraits - it is very "bridal."
