I was lucky enough to spend some time on this beautiful island in the summer of 2015. The initial idea was to make the tour of island, hitting all the important tourist spots (cities, famous beaches), whilst searching for new, not so popular locations. I must say I didn't visit all I had planned to, but I sure found one of the most beautiful beaches for my taste, and I’m not talking about that overrated pink sand beach (Elafonisi). I'm talking about Seitan Limania/Stefanou beach.

Other places I truly recommend are: Vai beach...

Agios Nikolaos...

and Balos.

    @wearejustamomentintime Went to Crete this easter, and was lucky to find Elafonissi beach almost empty... Balos was stunning of course and Chania (with very few tourists) was very charming. But I also loved the east coast of Crete which has stunning landscapes and little villages with no tourists at all... Have a look at my latest albums :)
