I never thought I would ever go to Dubaï in my lifetime. But as some family reasons pushed me there, I decided to make the most of it and document my trip. To be honest, I didn't know what to expect. I knew very little about Dubaï, except from the skyscrapers, the five-star resorts and indoor ski station.

It turns out that Dubaï has much more to offer to the traveller than one might think. I decided to photograph the things that "didn't look like Dubaï" and reveal a way less known facet of the city.
