Louis Dazy's Light Abstractions with the Neptune Convertible Art Lens System

When it comes to analogue experiments, Paris-based photographer Louis Dazy is a regular practitioner. Known for his multiple-exposure photographs shot on film, Dazy loves to mess with images by dabbing streaks of light here and there. This time, he channels his aesthetic using the Neptune Convertible Art Lens System.

Analogue photography is something Louis escapes to when the daily routine becomes mundane and boring. For Louis, film photography provides that haven of full control, freedom, and potential to create beauty. Louis' style is easily distinguishable — his models are always bathed with spots of light, photographs marked with electric-palette leaks, fused with ghost worlds against a dark ambiance.

In this series, Louis' theme remains faithful to his style. In love with the grain, colors, and analogue mess, he plays with the Neptune Art Lens System's lenses Thalassa, Despina, and Proteus for varying special effects capturing light, paired with a roll of Lomography Color Negative 400 for vivid multiple exposures.
